646 Guy,

I go to court a lot for trials, and I rarely go in uniform since I usually go do some errands after court and don't want to have to go home and change. I dress more casually than any other.

My bosses would have a fit if I went to court in a kilt, no matter how well I was dressed. Additionally, I am certain they would write a policy so we must wear a uniform to court and I would be the heel of the agency. And even on eof the judges specifically told me he had no problem with me testifying while kilted.
Alas, it is probably for the best, as I have had to wrestle down subjects in the court room on more than one occasion, and I really am not well set for such activity in a kilt.
