    Inspired?

8 X 6 inches, that will hold a Commander size 1911! That inspires me to get one! maybe along with a Lamont heavyweight!

It's a cross-over item. I think it'll be great for giving a nod to tradition, while updating the look.

After a bit of field testing I've only found one problem- loose change in the flap pocket makes more noise than I like. Other than that it's great. I'm able to keep things seperated and not have them all jumbled together as with regular sporrans.

I got a Taxi Wallet off ebay for use when I'm kilted; I didn't like having to dig down to the bottom of my Freelander for my cash. What I like about it, is that the coin pocket is on the outside of the billfold, so it doesn't hold it open when the coins build up.

I just ordered one of these SWK's New Sporrans. I've made three sporrans out of some camo matterial I had, but this will be my first bought one. So needless to say I'm excited.

I've got a "generic" change purse that I use. I've discovered that puting a couple of bills in the flap pocket along with the change solves the noise problem.

Hey S.B. What is that tartan? Is it really as dark as it looks in that picture?

Thats one I haven't positively I.D'd yet. It's not as dark as it looks. It's a medium weight kilt by Geoffry Taylor that I picked up at an estate sale.
    Here's a better pic:

I'm pretty sure that is Cameron of Erracht.
