Keep in mind, if you have a set length, that any braid is going to give with use - as the braid tightens, as the leather stretches, and also if you lose weight - that's why my belt has the screws joining the two pieces in the back.

Don't those screw heads cause wear to your kilt? I really like the braid.

I hadn't thought about that. I haven't noticed any, but I usually have it over my belt. I suppose I could turn it over; the other side of the screw is smooth.
