I agree with you Aggie, black shoes if you can.
The blue jacket and tie don't quite happen but it's great with the green jacket. If you were to wear the Blue (which looks a little more formal IMHO) go a white shirt and black tie, black shoes. Otherwise the green jacket outfit will be fine.
Clear as mud?!

Green jacket, definitly.
If you can, match up the leathers, and match the shoes to the leathers.
otherwise, looks good!

Better go with the trousers, for now. I don't think you can make that stuff match up, at all.
After this event, follow Alan H's directions for cutting a sport coat down into a kilt jacket, get some black dress shoes and a solid-color tie.

Like others, I would say the green jacket--especially with that color tie. Otherwise, you've got too much color diversity. Do you have a pair of green kilt hose/socks you can wear to pull it all together? I think the shoes would be OK, especially if you wear a brown belt, but I tend to feel green hose would be better.
Go and have a good time.

Green jacket is better
Tie is fine
White shirt - NOT A BUTTON DOWN
GREEN hose if available - if not go with what you have on. & if you have to go with those hose - stick with the non-white shirt.
BLACK SHOES

The green jacket could pass. But you should borrow a plain tie. However it's the shoes that are the big problem in this case. The way I see it, you have two choices. Put a serious push into trying to find those broghues... or failing that, wear the trousers.
Derek, You do more than your fair share for "cilt and country". There is no shame in wearing trousers once in a while. In this case, they would conceal most of the high-top boots... assuming that's what you intend to wear.
Real men wear trousers too... and recognize when it is appropriate to do so.

Derek, this might be too late, but I think that the green jacket ensemble looks the best. You just need to wear the black lace ups instead of the brown. I think that would make a smashing look. And as others have said, who will really know anyway.

hmm...after pondering the question more, I've come up with this:
The worst dressed with a kilt is still better than the best dressed with trousers.
write that down.

You've obviously never come across three guys calling themselves the "Shirtless Shepherds" at a RenFaire.
One wrap, no pleats at all, fastened with a big safety pin. No shirts, painted with blue greasepaint. And the "tartan" was Hunter Safety Orange and black. In a fuzzy Polarfleece.
Ick.
