made it to D.C. ... finally!
Heya gents, et al.
I made the move to D.C.; arrived safe if not necessarily sound... it's gonna take a while to decompress all my stuff from the trip into the new much more crowded quarters I'm in here. For now, it's walking thru a maze of floor to ceiling boxes while more than a fair bit of the furniture continues to live in the carport. LOL.
Anyways took the first day here to thank my friends who helped me move by taking them to the monuments and the Smithsonian.
Here's one of Dean and me braving the wind. We both only had one Marilyn moment and that was near the top of the steps of the Jefferson memorial. I swear the wind came from directly below! LOL

Anyways, you gents in the D.C. area, don't be strangers and keep me posted about upcoming events or just drop a line!

Great to have you in DC. Are you in DC proper or in one of the burbs?
Clicking that link takes you to a page saying the account has either been deleted or canceled.

Welcome to all the fun you can handle. What fair city are you living in?
I am up in Rockville, MD. Though I travel over over the area. Do not be afraid to ask how to avoid the beltway.

I'm in Silver Spring. In fact, I'm about 5 min. from the Silver Spring metro station, so getting downtown is easy. Still not sure where's "good" and where's "bad" .... but
