thanks for the welcome folks!! Rest assured I'll be post pictures once they're ready. I've also got to say thanks for the tip about Stillwater Kilts - one peek at their website and I was sold! They've even got a Wallace tartan (I thought I was going to have to save for months to be able to afford a Wallace!).

You'll (both) feel like a million dollars when you get married in your kilt. I hadn't worn one for 25 years until I got married but instantly felt good wearing it. It was a rented Prince Charlie oufit in Modern Douglas.
