HoS is great. I've bought shirts, ties, flashes, a towel, flags etc. off of them from a few different orders. It's always arrived in good time and they've always helped me - like when I phoned asking for info on sizes.
I'd recommend them... although check their ebay account first as you might get your stuff a bit cheaper:

I too so far have had nothing but good experiences with ordering on line from HoS---three custom built heavyweight wool kilts, one tweed jacke/waistcoat, one pair tan ghillie brogues, and two lengths of heavyweight wool tartan fabric(both of which ended up being custom made from the mill) at prices far below other vendors. Two of the kilts were a bit big but easily adjusted and the third spot on, once I got better measurements to them. I have also bought other smaller items.
As others have stated, there is a lot of tat both in their shops and in their online store, including many of the pre- made kilts which may be made of PV rather than wool, but if you are a conscientious shopper who looks over the items listings in detail before ordering, I don't think there is anything wrong with ordering items from them. You do get what you pay for, but by judiciously watching for special sales/discounts and paying attention to what you are ordering you should have no problems.
