I spend my spare time road biking, learning to play the bagpipe, reading (esp. history), listening to music (mostly jazz, classical, and other different stuff), enjoying beer, wine and whisky, a little bit of running, and spending time with family.

Hehehehehehehehehe!!
I really shouldn't laugh at this comment, as I'm going through exactly the same thing right now. Add in the home renovations as well. I wonder what it is about the age of 40 that causes this affliction in some men?

Panache, you are right, it's a 2001 Mag Red Z-51 Coupe, it is the 2nd Vette I have owned.
Retro Red, you must have me mixed up with Donald Trump, Bill Gates or one of those other wealthy fellows. I'll have to stick with the Vette, that Ford GT350 is to rich for my blood, besides it has a blue oval on it.
I'd like to see a picture of the Triumph Stag and the T bucket roadster too.

Al, nice looking set of wheels, the T-bucket is awesome, I like the Chevy pick-up too.

Another interesting thread learning about the variety of hobbies/interests other folks have
My interests are: gardening, cooking, camping, hiking, biking, golfing, home brewing and anything to do with the beach all of which I do with my family except golf - my wife has no interest at the moment.
Cheers,

Ya'll are quite the well rounded group. I do hunting/shooting usually flintlocks, traditional archery(including bowfishing), knives(making, collecting, sharpening), cooking, reading, making 18th Century clothes and equipment, wrestling(not WWE style), and mostly spending time with my wife of 21 years. When in the states, I also do my own butchering and processing as well as growing as large a garden as possible. I'm also an out of practice black belt in TKD, though I do pick up techniques from various styles to pass on to my soldiers.

I'm in with the Martial arts crowd. I study Wado Ryu as the traditional side but we do a lot of Brazilian Ju Jitsu, Muai Tai, TKD, Ultimate fighting, Continous fighting. I'm a member of our competition team. I compete in Kata, self defence, open kata, weapons, open weapons and point sparring(kumite).
I'm also very into spending time with my wife and 2 kids. We have little spare time but enjoy it together.
I enjoy the summer highland games schedule with celtic rock music and pints, scotch and good fun.
