Rowdy Roddy Piper is a classic wrestler from the early hey days of wrestling. I'm not a big fan of show wrestling but he certainly gained respect for his personality on the mat and off. I've seen a few interviews lately and heard him talk about old times. He's well spoken, Canadian and kilted. That says a lot.
MacHummel just lucked out on these guys when they were plying there trade in wrestling in there early days. He met them and got to know them and they requested kilts. I'm not sure even he would have thought they would go so far. You always hope for the best of sucsess for friends. They started like a lot of them start, near the bottom and work your way up. There big, mean and kilted. There kilts have been on them for a while now. They must take a heck of a beating. I am interested to see what there next kilts will be.

Nice video of the "new" wrestlers. I thought it was funny that when they started flassing the stills, the first one was of a couple of bonnie young lasses getting close to the kilted ones. Reminds me of a lot of other threads here. I hope they go over well. The wrestling crowd can be kind of finickey at times. Who knows what kind of new questions will be asked of us in our kilts if these guys can make an impact.

Alright. I must get in on this one. First and foremost. ROWDY RODDY PIPER IS THE MAN! PERIOD! I've been a hunting a "HOT ROD" T-Shirt!
As far as the "Highlanders." I don't know. I guess they're good for a laugh. They're doing the typical WWF(E) thing and exploiting the alleged country of origin. I watched the little video of them in the latrine. Pretty silly if you ask me. Though I did get a chuckle of the one taking a dump in the urinal.

I just hand delivered the Highlanders kilts to Robbie last week as he had a one day layover in Canada seems that the public love them their antics and the fact that they are kilted, No holds barred Piper is the man but these guys are coming up and they are pretty funny. I look at them as the Scottish Bushwhackers funny yet crazy, plus they wear my kilts( had to put that in there).

Stay strong.
Intersting enough I bought a Rowdy Roddy piper figure last week. It's a 12 inch figure in full kilt. http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.c...1929_790688923
