The only jewelry I've got is a simple gold wedding band and a pewter Celtic Cross on a neck cord. My wife has a Claddagh puzzle ring as her wedding band.
The two I have are the Chieftan and the Bear. Not daily wear, but they do dress up a kilt and shirt nicely. Living where I do, though, I have had to explain that they are an ancient symbol of the Celtic warrior class and thus a token of nobility, and not an item associated with certain alternative lifestyle communities.
I have the wolf, and wear it pretty much constantly. I've had to explain thats its not a snake (the braided brass apparently looks kinda like one), that its not a dragon, and no I didn't by it here in town.
I am curious as to what kind of alternative lifestyles people would think they represent, since I am gay (and thats usually what that phrase means), and I have never had anyone gay or straight make a connection between my torc and my sexuality.
