What a Marvelous comment you have made! I hope that people are listening and learn about the evolution of the kilt in the 21st Century. You are the single and most powerful spokeperson for bringing the kilts to the street for the common folks. I can see you on the cover of Men's Vogue and do more kilt advocacy work in the future.

That is an interesting dialogue taking place in the mainstream media. The article seemed to be sneering at contemporary kilts by calling them "man skirts." The comments appeared divided between men defending traditional tartan kilts and women fawning over kilt-wearing men, until your outstanding expression of the bigger picture. It is certain we owe the Scots much for bearing the brunt of oppression and persecution when the kilt and tartan were almost obliterated. Nevertheless, as you say, the kilt must either move on or be relegated to a historical footnote. Well said, Hamish!

There are always people going to attack the legitimacy of men wearing kilts or kilt like garments on a casual or business settings. People are just not used to it and they think that there is something 'queer' about a man who has a will to wear more than the ordinary Trousers or Jeans. It is still a very revolutionary ideas for 95% of the populations in the western hemisphere.

Many thanks to Hamish for what he had done. I am sure he had influenced many on both side of the Atlantics.
