Todd, I stand corrected. Should have said clarified that comment. There are definitely tartan associations that are mor meaningful, as you have pointed. And MacWages, you will never see me arguing with Todd and others on the historicity of tartans! They are way more knowledgable than I, and most of my knowledge has come second hand from them.
