Congratulations! That looks awesome. And if my math is correct you got 2 very nice wool kilts for under $400? Now I am not only thinking about driving over to that Celtic shop, but I am insanely jealous!

Looks very nice. How about some pics of the sporrans?

Great look, Rex! After seeing what the vendors were charging at Grandfather for some poor-quality Pakistani crap, I'd say you found some terrific bargains!

The buckle tabs are always hand-stitched on top. The underapron strap is sometimes embedded beneath the lining, sometimes on top of the underapron. Sounds like you got a well-made, versatile kilt for a good price, and it looks great, too.

Oh Rex I empathise entirely. But you'll be loving that tank. I had a look at a swatch of it and i can see what you mean with the colours being more green. A very handsome looking tartan that.
Is it a little long? Looks like it from the photo but I can't tell exactly. Well easy fixed if it is.
And I'd really like to get a look at the celtic-dog buckle. How about some pics of the rest of the hoarde?
    Nice work mate.

    Sigh!!!

Does someone have a credit card I can borrow? I promise I'll return it promptly!

Congrats, Rex, even if I am jealous!
