I got lucky... when Kelly sees something we make for a customer and likes it, she insists that I get one too...
Granite City tartan... got it.
Manx Hntg tartan... got it.
Lindsay Old Colors... got it.
Lovat Green jacket / vest... got it
Charcoal Argyl and vest... going to be on order
I also figured out why we're not making any money... BUT, we ARE well dressed!

That is lucky. My ex-fiance liked the idea of me wearing kilts, but was far too "practical" to think I could wear it everyday. God bless her, but I'm glad I'm free at the moment

While on the phone, I'm searching the mill's web site and I keep going back to the tartan I liked (Cladish)...Suddenly, from I don't know where....I speak the words... "Can I order a second kilt while I'm on the phone with you".....DOH. No turning back. Two kilts just ordered, one semi-trad and one casual. That's in addition to the casual order I had place back on June 30th....
The cards are going back to the wife tonight.
That ALMOST happened with me when I ordered my Ireland's National last week from Rocky. ALMOST.
How'd your wife take it?

good news is...you have two new kilts on the way!
Now, THAT is the truth!!

OK, time for some discpline on my part. I had meant to go over to the MM site and look at this tartan. I have spells of lapsed short term memory. So, I had forgotten about it since the last one of you ordered and posted about it. Well, after seeing the wave of them ordered... I'm frightened. If ALL three of you guys like it (Ron, KCW, Taper) I am most certainly doomed. Maybe I'll go look when I don't have my card OR a phone nearby.

Bradley, just to make it easy on you, here is the Cladish, and a link to a page that shows all of the tartans: http://www.mindspring.com/%7Eaquajoc...%20tartans.htm

Yes it is.
But I have a theory...KCW's comment made me realise that some kilts carry a virus that's visually contagous- A bit like a yawn is. You see it on the rack, magazine or computer screen and if you have that special defective gene that makes you susceptible (GATA-K-A), your buggered! Or poor. Or both.

I've got two card numbers memorized, including the little 3 digit code on the back of each.

Seems to be true indeed. And it's a virus that lasts a lifetime . . .
