    Congratualtions! Great achievement (and, if I may say, welcome to the club).

    I think you made a great choice with the semi-formal and formal outfits.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Incidentally, whenever we have convocations and graduations (the only time we wear formal academic attire) I wear much the same as you in the pictures. My robes are British and so do not fasten (in the way US doctoral robes do) so the open gown allows the kilt to be seen.
