If it's a desk job, you'll certainly be more comfortable now! well done.
I've been wearing mine to work everyday for 2 years, but it's easy for me, I'm self employed

Way to go Matt!!
See how easy....
If you can, just keep showing up kilted....see what happens....course you'll soon be stocking up on kilts for a different look....
I sit for a living too and kilts sure have made life at work more comfortable.
Been kilted full time at work for over a year now.

They really do! I was surprised. I sit in a somewhat uncomfortable chair (it's hard plastic) but the kilt gave some cushion between me and the seat! It was great!

After the boss said nothing, I'd believe that the precedent had arrive and you have successfully blazed a trail to your new frontier and set a path for more to travel.
BRAVO
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

I don't know if you want to jump into full time kilting at work though. That might be too much all at once. I would recommend wearing a kilt kilt more frequently each month. Eventually, they will be used to the kilt and won't realize you're wearing it full time. In fact, they will notice when you DON'T wear one.
Or, if you want, go for it now. It's all up to you.

Granted, davedove. I agree that the slow boil technique will nearly always be the better when enroute to higher visibility. Also, of course, if the full-on frontal attack of wear everyday works, then by all means, CHARGE!
