Well, I wore my first kilt on a few months ago. I already have five with one on the way and will be ordering another next week. So, more or less seven kilts. It happens fast.

If you can buy tham you have it easy - first cool evening and I am busy with sewing up some cosy wool mixture kilts for the winter, plus washing and then stowing away the lighter weight ones for next year, finding some yarn to knit jerseys to go with the new winter kilts.
Not that I'm at all averse to people buying their kilts and accessories - just pity those who are trying to be more self sufficient - though I supose that somewhere there might be someone spanning loom to start to weave themselves a great kilt, so I should be grateful for small mercies.
There might even be someone somewhere combing out fleece to spin their yarn to dye and then span their loom - yes there is always someone worse off....

Pleater, we suffer from a smilar variant of the addiction.
Me? My form of the addiction is that I have to keep continually restraining myself from buying tartan to make....more kilts!
I have material for three sitting in my house right now NO. I am NOT allowing myself to buy more until those are DONE.
Unless, of course it's on sale, and....

That'll be O'neille's next steps. Didn't he say he was buying some sheep?

I think the addiction to kilts and acessories is getting out of hand. I'm watching E-Bay and searching antique shops for one of those antique sock knitting machines.
I live out in the country so theres room for a few sheep...

Or modify their DNA so they produce tartan wool. There's a pic of that somewhere on the forum.

I have it! A Kilt themed house. One room for all those Hunting tartans, one room for all those Kilts that are of plain color. Yet another room for everyday Kilts.
In otherwords get those Kilts out of the closet, and fill the closet full of the paintings and other things that clutter up the rooms in your house!

FREE THE KILTS!!!!
On second thought, bad idea. Hamish would have to move into Buckingham Palace, Riverkilt into Biltmore.
