Well, nuts! You must have been in that long line of people at the entrance I passed on my way out to the car to get our umbrellas. I thought I may be able to recognize people. I wore my X-marks Kilt pin for ID.
We got there at about 9:00. Walked around looking at all the stuff. It was nice because it wasn’t crowded, yet. It started raining just before the time we were to meet at 11:00. I walked around the area around the Ball Field for almost an hour (in the rain) while my wife and daughter looked for stuff to buy. The rain stopped just as soon as I got to my car for the umbrellas. After that, it was REALLY crowded. We couldn’t even get close enough to see the ceremonies. We crapped out at about 2:00 and drove up to the National Park. (I love that Park in the rain).
We have some pictures. I'll post them when they get developed. (Need to get one of those digital thingys).

I couldn't figure out what the beer tent was, so I looked out around the Scotch tasting tent next to the Ball Field. I probably walked right passed all you guys several times. I was wearing my SWK Black Watch Kilt and had on a khaki vest and a Black Watch cap.

Seeing your photos makes me wish our season for games & festivals here was a bit longer. There is nothing quite as stirring as a marching pipe band!
Thanx for posting.

Who's the Sgt, and who's that in the Huskers shirt? Are they Xmarkers?

I don't know the Sergeant, but he must be with Estes Park PD. The guy in the Huskers shirt is my pal Jarrod...he is a Nebraska State Patrol trooper and that was his first time kilted.

The beer tent/truck is just about 50 yards west-southwest of the scotch tent (Harp and Guiness); I hope you got there in time to get a commemorative shotglass-they go fast, and I missed this year's...

Joe and I were at the SE corner of the tent in front of the EAST beer trailer. Sounds like there were several of us there. I saw Joe at the Scotch tasting on Friday (Glenfiddich 12, 15, 18 & 30 yo along with Balvenie 12 DoubleWood, 15 Single Barrel, 21 PortWood and 25 Single barrel) Got some new ones to add to the favorites list from that! Then saw him again at the parade, just before going to the field and meeting at the tent (both of us in X Marks shirts). He came over to the pipe band competition later on Sat afternoon for a while. Then saw Norbiedog about 1 or so before going over to assist with the piping competition. Didn't see the other 1 or more X Marks shirts there. Sorry I missed you guys. Knew I should have gone over to the other beer trainler
