well......i just got off the phone with rocky. got my order in for a USAK casual in the Menzies tartan (one of their new tartans, which is also my clan tartan), with big ol' belt loops and a rush order! just in time before they bug out to go to the festival! thanks for all the input guys! no doubt i'll be buying more kilts so the buzz kidder may be the next one....or maybe the sport kilt....or both...who knows! it'll be a long while before i catch up with Hamish though!

Awesome. I really like Rocky (and Kelly's) work. You'll be very happy. I got my Ireland's National on rush order too. If you're a "hose and flashes" kinda guy, you might wanna have him sew you up some matching tartan flashes for a little extra. I did, and I love 'em. But, I'm usually a "hose and flashes" fella.

i'm more of a combat boots or doc marten's kind of guy, myself.... that being said, i'm sure there will be a time when i will want those things.

I haven't worn one, but I've seen enough of them, and inspected one very closely off the rack not long ago. I'll say this...theyr'e BUILT.
I think you'll be ironing it a lot, which is the deal with most canvas kilts, but nothings perfect.
