Back a short while ago...and I'm not saying how short or long....a number of girls I knew (I grew up 30 miles north of Big Sur and one of my high school friends earned pocket money doing gardening for Joan Baez's mother). would take a pair of blue jeans and rip out the stitching on the inside of the legs, from the ankles all the way up and down the other side. They they'd fit in a piece of calico front and back and voila!...a jeans dress.

So the corollary statement would be:
"Is not a sports bra two jockstraps worn high?"

depends exactly what you mean by jockstrap.....the supporter itself? or a cup? There are such things as female groin protectors that have a hard plastic shallow cup in them much like a guys cup.
as far as support goes....i've heard that the first sports bras were actually made from two jocks straps sewn together.

Might have been a fair try at a string, but, this one took a turn into a death spiral !!
"Loose tights" A good oxymoron!
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

This thread went awry!
I don't think you would get anywhere with the original point, in fact you might even inflame things by insulting these idiots masculinity, of course that could be the point....

Aye,
Wasn't thinking about jocks and bras...just had the thought that, hey, do not pant legs encircle one leg just as a kilt encircles two legs? So its either "one skirt" with a kilt or "two skirts" with pants.
So...those dufus' that mock our kilts as skirts are, in fact, wearing two skirts themselves. But you're right, not sure the logic holds or that the dufus' could follow it.

Leave them to rot in their own ignorance and stupidity. But you should try it once as you say I doubt they could follow the logic.

At the end of the day, whether kilts or trousers, they are just a piece of cloth to keep you warm and it shouldn't really matter whether you wear a kilt one day and trousers the next (though kilts seem to have their own individual personalities crying out "please wear me today").
