Is that last picture reversed, or does your kilt close on the left???

Really nice kilt!
And I have to hand it to you for mixing a plaid shirt with a tartan kilt - I would be afraid to do that - but, wow, the way you did it works really well!
Regards,
Rex.

Really striking colors on that one. Do my eyes deceive me, or does it have a reversible apron? the second photo shows closure on the right, and the last one (kneeling) looks like it closes on the left.

A self-portrait in front of a mirror does turn things around. Kilt pin on the right, of course.
I hoped no-one would notice the check shirt (knowing Hamish is away traveling, I took the risk -- it was the only one that did not need ironing).
And, yes, it's much darker than Keepofgrass's tartan (recent pics) but just the same colours as his avatar -- which is where I first noticed Drummond of Perth.
Thanks for comments, etc, and I still do not know why I could not get pics to show -- I'd read and followed all the instructions.

Actually, the checked (not plaid) shirt looks fine to me -- the "country gent" look -- this is a point that Ham & I (respectfully) disagree on. A friend of mine wears patterned shirts with his kilt, usually with a waistcoat, and looks fine.
