I wear my z-coils all the time whil Kilted, I seem to get more comments about them than my Kilt.

Comfy shoes
Ron:
The first and only long running argument I have with the lovely and talented Mrs. Cossack is over shoes. I maintain that pretty shoes that aren't comfortable really aren't pretty, because they'll make you look sour, like you're chugging down castor oil or something else really nasty.
Start with comfort, and work from there.
I mean, if a kilt wasn't comfortable, would you be wearing one? I know I wouldn't.
Sharp looking kilt, too, bro----me likey!

I have been wearing Z-coils for almost 2 years now and it is good to see that I will have no problem wearing them when my first kilt arrives. A note if you are worried about the appearance of the coil z-coils no have an available closed coil heel for thier shoes.
P.s. great looking vest and Kilt combo looks like I need to save more pennies.

These shoes don't look "bad" and when you posted that picture without mentioning them...I would have replied: "nice tartan and vest"

Hey Angel923, now we are THREE. Very cool
How lucky you are to be there in the homeland of ZCoil and of Kathy Lare, my kiltmaker.
Hopefully you know Kathy, if not check out www.kathyskilts.com
And yup, I do have a pair of the boots with enclosed heels. My other six pair are from before they perfected the enclosed heels.
Have the hiking boots with the open spring. They've saved my ankles a few times when I've slipped. Even been in Z Coil's advertisng brochures kilted in them boots. But dang, hiking in the sand so prevelant around here the bottom of the heel deal scoops up sand with every step and throws it high, ususally winding up in the boots.
So Denver, Albuquerque, Page. A nice crescent of S.W. Kilted Z Coil dudes.

These shoes are somehow reminiscent of some fancy athletic footwear featured on an episode of Sienfeld a while back.
