Here are a couple of pics of mine. Knife pleated to the yellow stripe by Matt Newsome. (Notice the scrawny tomato on the vine. The ONLY one we got this year. )

Ron,
I started this post a few months ago, but it seems to have gone by the way side. Hank has set aside some space for this on the site. Does anyone want to pick up the torch and put this together for everyone else's viewing pleasure?

Haven't tackled mine yet, but I'm about 2/3rds of the way through my last "practice" kilt. It's my "learn to pleat to the sett" kilt. Once that's done, it's onwards and upwards!

Aye Colin,
Not many memory cells left in my besotted brain. Hope there's someone with the techie knowledge to carry this out.
So far I've accumulated pics of the X Marks kilts owned by Blu, Ham, KCW, Kilted Taper, Starbkjrus, Way2Fractious, Wompet, and Steve Ashton. Know there are more out there with pics and yet to take pics.
The kiltmakers so far include Matt Newsome, Kathy Lare, Barb T, Steve Ashton, Geoffrey (tailor), and self-made.
Think it would be great to have them all in one spot for the folks wanting to get theirs on the next run of material. Particularly if the pics stay up on that sub-forum rather than roll off with time.
Come on kilted techies....??

Rocky for sure, but I haven't been able to find any pics of the X Marks kilt(s)he's sewn up.
And yes, was Ham who had Geoffrey (tailor) Kiltmakers sew up his X Marks kilt.

I've got an Xmarks kilt that I had built by a local gal by the name of Lydia Bode. She works out of her home doing repairs on kilts and building kilts for people in the Portland OR area. Someday soon I hope to drag myself out of the mid-twentieth century and be able to post photos.
My Xmarks fabric was actually featured on local TV last S. Patrick's day. Lydia was in the process of building my kilt and the local ABC affiliate did a live remote at The Scottish Country Shop in Portland so she took the fabric to show how a kilt was constructed and the differet pleating styles. I was there in my Stillwater Irish National along with several other kilted gentlemen. (Does that qualify my Xmarks kilt as the first one to be on TV?)
