I have an update for you all, after fixing my kilt yesterday I thought I would take it for a test drive so to speak. Let me tell you it was a most enjoyable day.
First as I was heading for the elevator to leave someone shouts out
"I'll hold the elevator." Then this gentleman said he was only holding it for me because I was in a kilt.
Once I got to where I was going I was introduced to this chap who said that he had always wanted a kilt but that he thought they were too expensive. I told him to check out this website, and told him that there are some options out there today that just did not exist before. He was saying that he was aware of a "movement" towards men wearing casual, non traditional kilts, but had not looked too far into it.
Also there was the attention from the ladies, never a bad thing in my opinion.
So all in all it was a great day to be in a kilt.
Wish me luck as today I'm off to the local tartan shop.

The luck you will need is for your wallet! If you going to a tartan shop, can a new kilt be far behind?

New kilt will have to wait until after Chistmas, I was thinking kilt belt, perhaps a new sporran, etc...
I could however be talked into a new kilt rather easily.
