It just goes to show you that once something gets on the web it never dies.

Edinburgh Woollen Mill also own Romanes & Patterson.

It can be pretty difficult to know sometimes who the actual owner is - some are upfront and others are not.

And now Gold Bros have also entered the quality market even more vigilance is needed!

Has Romanes & Patterson reopened after the fire earlier this year?

No Dee but they have taken over a shop further west down Princes St in the meantime and are open for business, still offering some stock at reduced prices.

Alas my Laphroaig Quarter Cask that I purchased there wasn't in the reductions!

I will say, I do wish the kilt accessories were better organized. I'm sure you were trying to cut down on buttons on the left hand side by only having kilt accessories rather than more specific "belts/buckles" or "hose" buttons. But I don't want to have to wait to get to page 6 to find that you have sporrans. Perhaps have the kilt accessories button lead to a page with further options (ie, "Sporrans" "Hose and Flashes" "Belts and Buckles"), so the left hand side of the page doesn't get any more cluttered, but the customers don't have to sort through pages of stuff in which they have no interest in order to find the product they are seeking

Your Hillwalker kilt is not on the website.
Are you still making the Hillwalker?

    Hector Russell

Droped into Cairngorm Scottish Imports past October for rental - still have same address, e-mail, phone no and links to various Scotish groups in Toronto. Seems like the affiliation has changed but this should not lessen dealing with them. They have a retail store where you can actually discuss and touch the goods. They are sometimes kilted and sometimes not.

Interesting. The heavy weight kilts on the Hector-Russell.com site are cheaper than the medium weight kilts.
