Blah, post it. I'm not a big trekkie but would like to read it.

I wouldn't know how. Maybe if I can find it, I'll scan it and some one else can post it who knows how. It was very interesting.

On a related note:
In the episode "Day of the Dove" the crew is fighting with a group of Kilingons aboard the Enterprise. An strange alien force has changed all their phasers and disruptors to swords. Scotty goes to the Enterprise's armory to find that all the weapons have been turned into swords, knives, and axes. He spots a Scottish basket hilt broadsword with tassle and lovingly exchanges the sword in his hand for the weapon of his ancestors. I believe he says something as he picks it up but my memory fails me as to what.

True enough. But everyone I've ever talked with has referred to the basket hilt broadsword as a basket hilt claymore. I think it's because both are Scottish and people tend to generalise things.

I have a downloaded version, and watched back in November. I won't say that it was word for word, but close to it.

Resurrecting this old thread to grab the attention of the Trekkies out there...
I regularly wear my "Next Generation" communicator pin as a kilt pin, and someone asked me the other day if there has ever been an "official" Star Trek tartan. Seems like some serious trekkie somewhere would have designed a "Star Fleet Academy" tartan. I can't find one listed on any of the tartan finders I've checked, but I know that they aren't totally fool-proof.
