You lucky young man! Enjoy the trip, report back often with updates, and get lots of pictures. Especially of the sexy Irish women!!
And don't forget to study the lasting effects of the Irish migration to America during the potato famine on the local families and economy. Put in lots of compare and contrast, teachers eat that stuff up.

One of my ancestors on my mother's side, Sir Thomas Fitton was Lord Lieutenant of Connacht and Thomond under Queen Elizabeth I.
He's mentioned in the local histories, not very flatteringly
