David, that is a truly beautiful photo - thanks for showing us. I have not been made aware of this comet until now, but I doubt it would be visible from here - besides we have had nothing but cloudy skies for days on end now, and more are forecast!
I'd really love to see a comet before I pop my clogs. All that have visited British skies in recent years have been obscured by cloudy conditions.
