It doesn't hurt to check with your DMV.

Wish I'd been told that when I first got it. It really is a good way to stop your heart.
Actually, it's not that much worse overall than my old '92 Explorer was. This is only my second venture into Mopar vehicles. Last spring we got Karen a '99 Chrysler Cirrus, although I was very hesitant to buy it. Turned out to be a fantastic little car, so I decided to look at the Durangos. I'd always wanted one, regardless of fuel economy. Besides...didn't Retro Red just post pics of snow in Phoenix? Global warming my eye!!

But, I really like having my US Air Force veteran plate (not customizable as it's only four characters.) I'll post a seperate thread later as not to highjack this one. Congrats though, I LITERALLY feel and share your excitement.
Thanks! "KILTGUY" was on my shortlist of names, but Karen thought MR KILT was better for me.

I'm in the SE neighbourhood of Erin Woods, and I work out of the Anderson bus barn during the week and the Victoria Park barn on the weekends.

now I need another new bike, and I am spending $1500.00 on the car, in a way I wish it were more so I could justify buying another vehicle, but I cant, so hopefully I can get my car back on Saturday.
Nice looking Shadow!! I really like the paint scheme. Scallops are always cool.

I am the exact same way- I always drove "disposable" beaters (usually full-size vans or big Cadillacs) but always tried to have a nice motorcycle.
My first brand new car/truck was a 2002 Dodge Dakota, I really like it. It's a 2WD stick shift (great gas mileage), the dealer was practically giving them away, everyone wanted the 4x4 autos. I'd buy another one without hesitation. 4 years later, it is in great shape!

Nice wheels, Al, and I love your new AB plate. I'll tell my daughter to look out for you!

I wanna a Vespa to match my Goldwing. Alas my lovely wife will not fund it at this time.

Thanks!
Just buy the Vespa and hide it in one of the saddlebags. Tell her it's like a spare tire in a car.

Yay Dodge! Just tonight my 94 turned over 348,000 miles. Paint is coming off (you'd think that here at the tail-end of the 20th and dawn of the 21st centuries they'd have figured out how to make paint bond to metal - alas it appears not) but running gear is still going strong.

I saw a Vespa motor scooter the other day with a sidecar. Blew my mind. Sidecar was some WEIRD covered model, with some kind of glass or plastic dome for the passenger and a convertable rag top.
Checked out the back end, darn thing was two wheel drive. Had an assist axle leading to the sidecar wheel.
Either some kind of new factory model or somebody has to much free time and money.
