    It's great that both he and his Senator father wear the kilt, maybe there are some sensible people in the U. S. Senate after all.

    The buckler is a nice touch and doesn't even look garish as I would have thought.

    He certainly knows how to wear a kilt well. And the girl ain't bad lookin' either.

    I was going to mention that, but I didn't want to sound like I was quibbling. Being a history major and buff, I find facts like that facinating, I love to discuss them.

    And as far as the horsehair sporrans go, I kind of like the look. I wouldn't wear one unless in uniform--I don't think I would--because everyone would think I was too ignorant to know better.

    But I wouldn't mind wearing one if it didn't look too . . . overdone.
