I am thinking we may have to hit the Strath for a possible whisky tasting. I am trying to find some cheap nosing glasses. Of course the Sticky Wicket is right beside it..........

The Strath had a tasting of Rogue Ales last night. Of course, I found out about it this morning . From the Sticky Wicket it's just a few blocks to the Irish Times, and then just a few more to Swan's brew pub, and then just one more to the Canoe brew pub. I'm getting thirsty . . .

My vote would be for The Irish Times. (Hi, I'm back-ish)

What is the pub right across from the Times (same side of Government, but closer to the harbour)? There is also a good pub down the way at the base of Bastion square?
I spoke with Andrew, and he and his fiance are all good to go for the Friday night.
I have to hit the Strath, as I have been looking for some whisky nosing glasses, but I can do that during the day.
I hope my Weathered MacKenzie is here by than, as the week will start off with the St. Paddy's day parade and free Ashley MacIssac concert in downtown Vancouver and round off with a pub crawl in Victoria.
I'm starting to get a bit thirsty myself.

Welcome back, Michael! Great to hear from you again!
Colin, it's the Garrick's Head Pub that's across from the Times. At the base of Bastion Square is D'Arcy McGee's Pub.
Anna is good to go as well. She may have her new Hunting Mackintosh billie skirt by then. Looking forward to seeing everybody!

I am all booked up for a place to stay, now on to the important details. When to start and what time?
Any suggestions? I was thinking around 7ish (give or take time for people to have dinner).

The Irish Times is kind of central to the other pubs. How about starting a little earlier and having dinner there as a group and then progressing to where ever? I think half a dozen kilties and their lassies would really add to the ambience.
