    That kilt should sell well. Aside from how good looking it is, the single largest ethnic sub-group in the United States is German-American, which came as a surprise to me when I read that a couple of years ago.

    Incidentally Mr. Mackay, one of my clan's tartan's is based very closely on the Mackay tartan, adding only a single red tramline to differentiate the two. This stems from a long and close affiliation between our clans in the northwestern Scottish mainland and in the Outer Hebrides.

    That's a nice looking kilt! Great pics.

    I really like it pletted to the sett. If I remember correctly Rocky had posted some pictures of this tartan pletted to stripe (to the vertical white line) and it was too much for me.

    You look really happy and that's the best part

    Smart looking indeed, though you must be very hardy not to feel the limbs cold going out in the snow with a short sleeved top and scrunched down hose.
