This looks fantastic Turpin - its great to see your sporran designs evolve and mature. But be careful or everyone here is going to be hounding you for an XMarks tartan sporran lid!

a tartan sporran is not an entirely new idea, though Turpin's interpretation of it is certainly new.

Bear had done a maple leaf tartan sporran. There are pics of it here on the board somewhere

Bring-em on! I just need enough of a piece so I can get a good representation of the sett on the bias.

Thanks Cloves. That is certainly a handsome piece. I did my flap on the bias so that it could be worn either with the tartan kilt or with a solid kilt.

That is a very handsome sporran and a great idea. Like A_Hay, your sporrans keep getting better and better.

Beautiful. A great idea. Love the way the sett is displayed on the bias.

The green on the sporran leather is in a case of its own. I like it. I like it. I like it!

Looks great! I don't think I'd wear it, I prefer simpler things, but it really does work.

I can do an entire body in that. It'd look pretty good with a lot of the earth-toned and weathered tartans, i think.
