Great video! Just one aside, what is with the "Big Bird" sporran in Howie's shop?

I had no problems running it in firefox!

I did at first (when the page was first advertised in another thread) but only because you have to set the download speeds etc. which it then remembers.

Thought Howie came over very well so if you do show him what I wrote in the other thread Hamish do please let me know what he said.

So, as I remember it, you're collecting the Craig ancient. So, what will you put on his plate next Ham?

Actually, Trefor, I had only a few minutes with him, but I gave him a print out of your comments which he promised to read as soon as possible. Frankly, I have never seen that monthly London showroom so busy. My appointment was for 4.00 pm, but I did not get to speak with him, apart from an acknowledgement, until almost 4.40pm - he and his assistant were working like things possessed. There had been a fire-alarm during the morning and the hotel had to be evacuated for two hours, leaving Howie with a build up of appointments. They are fully booked again for today, then they have to pack up around 6.00pm before Howie drives their large van back to Edinburgh. He flies to Japan (I think) on Wednesday en route to New York to prepare for the week of 'Tartan Day' events. He will, I promise you, peruse what you had to say. He asked me for your E-mail address which, of course, I did not have with me. Is it alright with you if I pass it on to him?

It was not a good day actually, Bradley! Yes, I was going to collect my new Craig a/c kilt, but I was rather more intent on giving my order for a new 3-piece TFCK kilt suit! As it happened, my kilt was not ready for me due to a delay in getting the tartan in - the kiltmaker had rejected the original length the mill had supplied! So the Craig and matching flashes are having to be sent on to me later. Oh well, I should be consolled by the arrival of Barb's Isle of Skye this coming week!!

I did manage to place the order for my next one (the kilt suit) in spite of the chaos that reigned in the hotel Showroom, the result of an earlier fire-alarm two hour evacuation of the building! Howie measured me but the assistant did everything else. I have chosen a super navy-blue worsted suiting material with a fine grey or silver pinstripe running through it. The suit will consist of kilt, jacket and waistcoat with antique celtic buttons. It will not be ready until mid-May - in good time for Howie's wedding in June however!

It didn't play for me initially either.

If you look at the on screen player you will see a button for settings, click on that and choose the rate and media player that you usually use for your computer. It should then play for you.

    Mikey,

I don't know what you mean by the "Big Bird" sporran, but I am wondering if you are referring to the fluffy, highly coloured sporrans on the rack behind him? If that is so, those sporrans have limited usefulness but they can be, and are, really effective when worn as part of stage outfits with plain kilts.

The red ones are worn very well by The Red Hot Chilli Pipers - see this recent thread:

    http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=24935

I have also seen sporrans of this nature worn well at Fashion Shows and even weddings - but never with tartan kilts, only plain ones!

That was a great interview and the gentleman from TFCK came across brilliantly, despite the interviewer being a bit odd. That first formal outfit that the interviewer tried on (with the green PC and waistcoat) was beautiful!

Thanks for posting it, and thanks Cavscout for the heads-up on using IE. I was having trouble in FF too.
