The photos are great! I love that kid's jacket. Oh, that picture with the drummer and the "Northumbrian Smallpipes". Those are actually English Great Pipes, just so you know.

I chuckled at the mock trials

I have "gone to jail" too. A charity here takes people to a mock lock-up on such charges as tipping the watress too much, never breaking the speed limit, being kind, and other such things. Your friends have to bail you out. The money of course goes to the charity.

Hawick Scout Fellowship Pipe Band lead the Hot Trod.
The Scout Fellowship band members are wearing their Sutherland kilts and are also supported by other pipers.

Lone Kiltie carries the Saltire as the Scots set off to seek revenge on the English Reivers!!!

The torches are filled with wax, rather like large candles.
