A sharp look for sure - the way you stand and carry yourself is perfect for the kilt.

Only suggestion is, ditch the chain and get a leather sporran strap. No rush, chains just ain't good for kilts.

Now trade the shirt and tie for a sweatshirt and head for the mall.

Looks good Patrick. I started out wearing a kilt to Church once a month. That lasted about 3 months and people started asking me "Where's your kilt?" when I didn't wear it. Now wear one (of nine) every Sunday. Soon you will have a Fan Club!

Looks good but I would go with Ron on the belt, go to your local walmart, target or what have you and see if you can find a womens leather belt, use that instead.
Keep the chain for dressy occasions, your kilts will thank you for it, chains are murder on kilts.

    Patrick,

Glad to hear you had a good day - but I wasn't surprised, though

Thanks for posting pictures - you wear the kilt well.

    Patrick, you look great.
I know a fair few German Lutherans and every one of them tends to think than honouring your heritage with the kilt is a wonderful thing.
I hope it all goes well.

    Patrick,

You look great, you look very comfortable in your kilt.

Robert at Rkilts makes a great braided leather sporran belt.
