Hey Chef,
I am HOOKED on Jerry's design. If he's a copywrite or patent on it that's fine by me. That's why I included the (?) in the initial post.
Had/have no desire to go against that. Just grateful for the design and hoping there'll soon be brown and black leather versions of it AND a ballistic version in brown.
I'm guessing most of us who've ever worn it have fallen in love with it.
I have other sporrans, and just ordered that one that you drop the nail like thingie into to keep it closed from Scotland. But for day to day wear nothing beats the layout and convenience of Jerry's design.
Waiting as patiently as an addict can for what I want and need...right now please!

hahahaha, yeah I know. But I never liked the look of a sporran on a female, and being female.....
Anyways, I just love the inovation. All the different materials being used, different closures....so familiar, but all so modern and fresh at the same time.

...well, you could just try wearing the sporran off to the side on your hip...then you've got all the benefits of a sporran with, perhaps, a sort of female variation on the look...I can understand that dead center sporran placement could be considered a male thing for two or three reasons.

Sorry, Jerry - I missed the leather pic somehow...or forgot it...
But, that sir, is exactly what I want!...ANY shade of brown or tan...and a black one too.
I know you're into kilts by trade - but I think you have a winner with this sporran design and if you offer it in brown and black leather and brown nylon (or canvas) that it will sell -sell -sell for you.
Know you'll price them fairly - but gotta tell you there is at least one zipper sporran junkie out here willing to pay most anything for the convenience of the design.

Ron,
I also think Jerry's design is great and I will probably get one of the brown once they are available. I was just pointing out that if Jerry wasn't making his zippered sporrans in leather, or for what ever reason someone didn't want to buy from Jerry (can't imagine what that reason could be) someone else could make and sell a sporran with the same functionality as Jerry's Nightstalker sporran and that wouldn't be copyright infringement.

Jerry - could you add a stiffer back or expand the belt tunnel to be wider?
My current one doesn't always sit right when I use my sporran belt (I don't use the chain belts).
I, too, am looking forward to purchasing a brown and black leather version.

I love my cargo sporran. It's innovative, practical, and good looking. Jerry, thanks for giving those of us that wear a kilt on a regular basis a sporran that allows us easy access to our stuff. When the brown and black leather ones are available , I'll get one of each.
