I found the list very interesting. I've wondered before... but it's either to get a visual from a list than a bunch of spread out pictures... ironic.

I'm almost scared. For almost half a second I thought about the look on my wife's face if I told her I would be buying 47 MORE kilts over the next three years. All I can imagine is a look or horror, and a rolling pin in mid swing before the lights go out!

personally, I think it is fantastic! Here is a great pic idea, take them and lay them out in a spiral pattern with you standing in the center looking up. and take a pic from above. I think that would be a fantastic pic!

I would THINK it should put him in the #2 spot (at least on XMARKS), but I'm not certain. He's certainly the top USAK owner (with 11 casuals and 6 Semi Trads), although a few others (not necessarily on this forum) are starting to catch up.

My painter has 6 Casuals, 4 Semi Trads, 4 "5 yarders" and 1 Premier. Granted, we're the ONLY kilt company he has kilts from, but he's almost tied with Ron for # of USAK's... and I had a leak in my basement, so he's going to trade me another one for some work.

Boy, didn't mean to frighten anyone...but this is a serious addiction. Never meant to "collect" kilts...just get the fever when I see one I want - or even "need"- and if the finances are in order, why not?

I can't envision chasing or catching up to Ham...but then I never envisioned this many kilts either. A lot had to do with my initial fascination for solid and camo contemporary kilts for hiking...the Scottish Jeans concept.

Then I got hooked on tartans...particularly my clan tartans and my memorial service tartans. So, Sean, I don't know that I have any favorite kilt, but I always seem to stand tallest wearing those tartans, Macdonald, Gordon, Frazer, Cameron, Scott, Leatherneck, Royal Air Force, and U.S. Army.

The most unique has to be my Arizona Flag Tri Color Kilt that Jeff at Pittsburgh Kilts sewed up for me. I'm working on getting thin enough to wear it again.

Here is the Arizona state flag for those not familiar so you can see why the "circus" colors. There are also Arizona Flag emblems on the back pocket flap and the apron in lieu of a kilt pin.

Dread, a hemp kilt from Robert at RKilts is definately on my wish list...when he's back and ready...if I don't get really crazy and buy a second leather kilt from him. Sooooo easy to be spoiled and enticed by quality craftsmanship.

I haven't had a wife since 1988 so the only restriction on my kilt lust is my meager willpower. I do embrace serial monogamy with occasional breaks for wild dating. Was dating kilted briefly before meeting my current love, Marjorie. The results of dating kilted were very very very positive. Something about being kilted always seemed to bring dates with the ladies to what might be called a "successful conclusion" from the gentleman's point of view.

Marjorie has yet to see me in a pair of P**ts and we've been dating over two years.

And Rocky, I never dreamed I was one of your top customers....I thought everyone had a closet full of USA Kilts....really did...

    I can't see ordering up anymore kilts...but I know I will...

But I'm not into "collecting." Have actually (gasp) been thinking about facing reality and selling some of the early kilts I had made when my waist was smaller...but some are collector's items now....so jeez, maybe I am collecting.

Stop me before I "kilt" again!!

    Hmmm...now there's another t-shirt logo idea....

    Hey Ron,
I'll be coming out to AZ the first week in August. How much would you charge for a guided tour of your closet???

    Amazing collection my friend. Seriously.

In 33 more months, I expect it to double.
But would Ron dare surpass Hamish?
I too echo Dread's comments Ron.
