Here are a few of the the little everday pleasures that make me happy:
Riding bikes with son Sinbad
Taking walks with daughter Xena
Wrestling with my two children, even though they always win.
Walking about my garden
Dancing with my lovely wife, the Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess
Finishing a wood working project
Sushi
Driving nowhere in particular with the top down in my Mustang
Getting a phone call from an old friend
The smell of baking bread
Starting a new book
Knowing that I still remember all the lines to "Address to a Haggis"
Making supper for my family
A Gin and Tonic with fresh lime
Cheers

1. Riding the motorcycle on a back road with no traffic.
2. Seeing Elizabeth Jane my niece.
3. A nice hot Earl Grey tea on a cold day.
4. The smell of hay in a horse barn.
5. Anything from Revolver or Rubber Soul by the Beatles.
Thats what I can think of for now.

1) Sitting on the front porch in the evening having a scotch and cigar with my wife.
2)Sleeping with the window wide open in the spring.
3)Watching a brook trout dance on the end of your line after having sipped in a dry fly.
4)Seeing my English Setter stylishly point a Ruffed Grouse.
5)An evening in grouse camp with good friends.
6)Any time spent with my wife at an onsen in Japan.
7)A really good bowl of ramen, preferably tonkotsu ramen.
8)Being first due, and having the pipe at a really good fire. ( you'd need to be a jake to understand this.)

I like sitting on the patio on cool evenings, eatin' Spitz. I just like the cool air and hearing the sounds of my trashy little neighborhood.
