Great Pics. How long does it take you to walk the 15 miles? And I have to ask, how do the Converse high tops hold up on such a long walk?

Excellent pics, Derek, an excellent tour, all the way from the Muckle Clock to the Legal Quarter, via some delightful scenery.

Stopping off for pints . . . now that would have made route marches a lot more fun in the Corps!

I definitely need to get out on walks more. But it's hard to find such a magnificent pub crawl around here.

Very nice Derek. Your countryside and pubs are equally filled with character. Thanks for the tour.

Sean ... my fault .. should have been 15km .. (8/9 miles). We covered the distance in 6 hours, thats with the stops in the pubs. With regard to the converse ... I wear them everywhere (including caves) .. I find them really comfy ..

So let's see....first pic has clock at 10:30, at pub #5 you are watching rugby, probably no later than 3:00pm. By my calculations that's an average of less than one hour between each pub. Seems like a great walk!!!
