I made my first kilt for a 50 inch waist, now I make them for a 38.
It has been a couple of years - but dead easy.
Just cut out the sugar and heavy carbohydrates and eat salads and vegetables. It is what Dr Atkins actually wrote - not what the media interpret it as.
The trouble with taking in lots of fresh air and exercise is it always makes me feel hungry.
