I am DYING to go hiking over there. I think that hiking the West Highland Way....and maybe a LOT more than that, is slowly creeping up in my Have-to-Do's list.

Those first few pics, it was hard to see you what with that darn camo kilt! I really liked the pic of the "kilts on the hoof". Thanks for sharing.

    Mr. Court Solicitor Cunningham,

For what its' worth, in your humble servant's opinion, this photo is not only a particularly good composition ...

... it also brings to mind the pivotal scene in the movie The Shawshank Redemption in which the character played by Morgan Freeman, after being released from decades of imprisonment and following the protagonist's meticulous instructions, finds directions to paradise (redemption) under an oak tree by a rock wall (represented in your photograph by a barbed wire fence), under a rock that "has no place being there" -- to the Mexican coast where Tim Robbins' character has taken refuge after fleeing his unjust imprisonment.

    I know, rather dramatic and all, but it's all your fault. . . :) . . That's the effect of a well-composed photograph.

    Thanks.

I knew that picture looked familiar Good call there, it really does resemble the scene in Shawshank Redemption.
