Welcome aboard from Snellville Georgia
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

And a from coastal North Carolina.
I'll add my 2c for Stillwater Kilts - I have a Standard Nightstalker and a wool weathered Lamont. Both good value for an everyday kilt.

Welcome. Thought Kentucky was civilized...out here in the canyonlands its 135 miles to town...
If you're gonna be a padre suggest you figure out your favorite tartan - personal clan, Kentucky State, clergy, whatever - then "invest" in a top of the line hand sewn so you can wear it proudly while preaching, or officiating at weddings, funerals, et.al.
And, of course, add some knock around kilts that you can afford.
My preferred kiltmaker, Kathy Lare of www.kathyskilts.com is one of many fine kiltmakers in the U.S. She does offer half down to fire up getting the tartan sent in to her, then balance upon completion - which makes the finance part a bit easier.
Welcome aboard,
Ron
