Thank you all for your help
We have done extensive web searches
Will search for Setco and Stillwater websites
I may end up customizing my own...if you are interested in the end result, let me know!

I know there was a thread a while ago about customizing hangers for kilt use, you might want to search around here and see what others have done.

    Stillwater has both 30cm (12") and 40cm (16").

I have 2 of the 40cm, they are quite nice and have a hook so they can be "stacked". They could easily be cut down to size.

30 would be almost perfect for me. I have not tried Stillwater's --- I don't know if they have the little hook, but there's a very good price for set of 6.

Ok so I took some shots of the Ikea hanger in action

    The Hanger:

Inside the Hanger note the material so as not to rub your kilt the wrong way:

Here it is on the back through the belt loops:

Did you attach that fabric, McMurdo, or was that a factory install?

I tried 40 cm hangers at first, but they won't fit between the kilt buckles, so I settled for the 35cm (almost 14") hangers. They fit between the buckles and can go under the belt loops also.
Stilwater's long hangers are 16in (40.6cm). Plenty long enough for a kilt.

That is how it came, however my kilt maker gave it too me when I received my Isle of Skye, so I am unsure if it is factory or not.

Oops: all 3 of us were right, but the long ones aren't listed today!

I believe the 16" were listed "Deluxe kilt hangers" when I got them. Apologies for any confusion.
