Steve is over in Seattle picking up Barb T and her husband, so I will respond in his stead.

Gordon Kirkbright will be bringing the XMarks tartan with him when he comes over for the Kilt Night this Friday (as part of Kilt Kamp 2007).

Steve and I plan on slicing and dicing next week after everyone goes, and then we will be shipping it out. So, those of you who have made arrangements with kiltmakers can advise them that the fabric should be arriving in a couple of weeks.

Orders in Canada and the US will be shipped by Canada Expedited Post, which takes 2-4 and 6-12 business days respectively to reach the destination. We ship that way because it can be insured and tracked.

    Any other questions?

Nope, that was a great update, Thanks!!!!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

see that pretty blue tartan background here on this webpage? That tartan is the official tartan of "xmarksthescot.com"

It was designed by a member of the forum, and has since been woven into actual fabric. You can do a simple search and see some pics of the kilts that have been made out of it.

Here it is in a kilt:

(more "subdued" than the coloring around this page)

That is almost the SAME outfit I have on NOW (different navy shirt, no hat, and canvas all black Converses instead of leather).

    Front (w/cut off jacket):

    Back:

NOTE: This is the 13 oz wool from the LAST run. THIS run is 16 oz. I am getting yardage for another kilt in the heavier wool.
