Talk about a dynamic duo - Rocky and Kelly you both take the cake. This is a great looking tartan with a wonderful sentiment behind it. I'm sure it will be a well deserved success - for ALL the right reasons!

    Congratualtions!

A wonderful looking tartan, and the fact that some of the proceeds are going to a charity make this one even more special, thanks Rocky and Kelly.

    Nice looking tartan!

Did you have any trouble getting it woven with an odd number in the thread count?

No... We're having MM weave it in 13 oz Wool and told them that the "3-4-3" section HAS to be done with that thread count. Since they do a "tuck selvedge" for their kilting selvedge, it shouldn't be a problem.

I ordered the material yesterday, so it should be about 2 months for the material to arrive.

It's going to be in 13 oz wool. We MAY eventually do it in PV, but we don't have plans for that yet.

That one is definitely going to be on my shopping list.

Having been asked about this idea by Rocky during its early phases, I'm glad to see it finally coming to fruition.

    Rocky & Kelly, YOU ROCK!

Kelly and Rocky, that is a great looking tartan (I'm partial to the reds).
Also thanks for your recognition of the men and women who undertake this dangerous profession. I've worked with many firefighters over the years and have found them to be some of the finest people I have met.
Here in Germany there are a lot of small volunteer fire departments. It is a highly regarded honor to be a member of the local fire company.

You guys rock! Thank you for honoring the FF memories in an awesome way. Plus the idea was ingenious. I hope you both make a lot of off of this, because you deserve it for honoring their memories. I know that money may not be the primary thing, but hey... we've all got to eat.
