I don't know about a kilt pin working, but if you got a bigger shackle it would make a fantastic belt buckle.

What about making up a tiny wood-shelled stropped block? Even more arcane, but I think it'd be very cool.

Now, wouldn't THAT be cool? It'd be a blinking lot of work, but I'd wear one in a flash if I could find/make one.

I think I have plans for a wood penny bullet block. Where a penny become the cheek and stops the bearing from comming out. would make a decent size.

For the money, I have always preferred Harkin blocks to Schaefer or Ronstan.
I carry a Harkin Microblock key chain purchased from West Marine that is pretty compact, but lacks the swivel of yours.
