    Where are you staying? That would be a good start on figuring where to meet. Also what type of transportation do you have? Are you relying on Metro or a rental car or which?

    Having watched traffic court in D.C. and V.A. many times (duty calls), the metro is always a great choice when one may have occasion to enjoy an adult beverage... but there are some great places best reached by car if memory serves. Where ever the group decides I will try to make it in from the shore.

    Always kind of fun to swim against the herd!

    I know some people smoke and some don't, but most places don't allow smoking (an issue the last time a group of us got together).

    I'd be happy to offer the use of my home if people would like. I'm located not that far from the Vienna Metro, but that's a bit far from Frederick.

    Murphy's in Old Town Alexandria is always fun as a commercial venue. Plus, there's live pub songs on Saturdays.
