Thank you, everyone, for your kind words...Here are a few more pics and then I'm off back to the hospital to see my Little Rose:
Mommy sees her baby girl for the first time...

This is one my favorites because its everything my life has been leading up to...

My second true love (didn't know that was even possible!!)...

A most precious gift...

I've been able to make my wife smile (and laugh) every day since we've met (something I promised her I'd always do), and this one says it all...

Thanks (again) for letting me share our joy with you here at XmarksTheScot.

She's beautiful. My sincere congratulations to you and your wife. I have experienced that feelinf twice in my life and both still seem like surreal memories that seem so vivid, yet in such a fog. Nothing beats the feeling of welcoming your child into the world.
Thanks for sharing this moment with us.

What can I say that has not already been said other than "enjoy the blessing and responsibility that has been placed in your hands"! As others have also said, thank you for sharing this precious moment with us.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

I know the feelings you are having. I felt the same way when my daughter was born. I still feel the same way when I think about her and she'll be 31 in Nov.
