Another 90 minutes got me done with all my pleat tapers, finished up the over-apron strip and got velcro attached. This means, of course, that I can actually put it ON. So I droped the levi's, strapped on the kilt and headed for the mirror.
SPOT ON. It fits perfectly.Dang...I done good.
Last bits to go...waistband and belt loops! When I'm done I'll tot up my time investment...I'm curious.

Another 90 minutes and it's DONE. It's in the washing machine right now, washing the chalk marks out. There' one flaw in how it sets on me rump, but I can fix that with some selective ironing.
In the instruction manual I refer to "my X-Kilt" but I actually gave that one to Piper George. That was prototype #3.
